First, contact your case manager and
tell him/her that you are interested in exploring working with Hamilton
Services. Your case manager will provide us with your name and telephone
number. (Or, if you prefer, you may contact us directly. See “Contact Us”
page.)
A representative of Hamilton Services will then call you to arrange a
visit with you and the client. During this visit, we will want to discuss
your needs, the client’s treatment plan and how we can best serve you.
Once you determine that we are the agency best suited for you, we will
immediately go to work locating the best potential workers for you. In so
doing, we not only look for a match in skills needed/skills acquired, but
also in common interests. This usually provides a great place for the
worker and client to begin to develop a rapport.
We will then contact you to interview worker candidates. We usually try to
introduce you to two or three from which you can choose. You make the
final determination. We feel it is very important for you to have an
initial comfort level with the person who will be coming into your home
every day.
You current worker may also be considered for transfer to our
organization.
