Fun on the Farm Saturday, April 19, 2008
This annual event, sponsored by the A-O Civitans, is free for persons with autism and their families. There are hay rides, horseback riding, moonwalks, live bands, inflated slide, trampoline and tons of yummy food! Be sure to mark your calendar -- you don't want to miss this event! Location: At the home of Therrel & Marie Brown, 6236 Hwy 87N in Caswell County (between Burlington and Reidsville). Please RSVP by April 17, 2008 to Therrel & Marie Brown at (336) 585-0908. Rain Date: Saturday, May 10, 2007 Directions: Take Wendover Avenue East to Huffine Mill Rd. exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right (Gateway will be on your right.) Stay on Huffine Mill Rd. for 9.5 miles. (Huffine Mill Rd. veers to the right as you leave Greensboro - Rankin Mill goes straight. Stay on Huffine Mill Rd.) Turn left onto High Rock Rd. (There is no stop sign, so watch for it.) Stay on High Rock Rd. for 9.4 miles. (You will cross Hwy 61 and Osceola-Ossippee Rd.) Turn right onto Hwy 87 toward Burlington. (There is a Chevron station/Ross Hardware store on the left.) Stay on Hwy 87 for 2.9 miles. You will see a log cabin and horses on the left.
Camp Ann Camp Ann, a fun camp for people with special needs, is gearing up for this summer. Below are the scheduled sessions.

MainStream Resources MainStream Resources offer recreational programs and events for special needs people 5 years old and up. Some programs are designed for certain ages and disabilities. Natural Science Center of Greensboro The Natural Science Center of Greensboro offers many classes and special exhibits year round. Check out their website for details. Your child and their staff may go as they please and simply check in at the front desk as Hamilton Services. Saturday, March 8 from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm, the Natural Science Center will be having their Bunny Day. You can pet bunnies, meet the Easter Bunny, get your face painted and make a special bunny craft.
